What is the WEB-SRM?

The WEB-SRM is Revenu Québec's cloud-based sales recording module. It replaces the physical sales recording module (SRM) that restaurants used to connect to their POS. A certified sales recording system (SRS), such as WinRest, sends each transaction to the WEB-SRM and prints a bill that carries the information Revenu Québec requires, including a QR code.

Under Quebec's mandatory billing measures for the restaurant sector, operators must send their transaction data through a certified SRS designed to communicate with the WEB-SRM, and give every customer a bill produced by that SRS. Revenu Québec publishes the list of certified SRSs, and WinRest is on it.
